Justin Rudd presents: Red High Heels Walk for heart health month

On Facebook at "Red High Heels Walk." More than 150 walked in our inaugural event in 2011. February is American Heart Month, and this FREE "Red High Heels" walk (heels not needed, any red shoes okay) will raise money to help fund heart health programs in Long Beach. Although heart disease is sometimes thought of as a "man's disease," it is the leading cause of death for both women and men in the United States. Since 1984, the number of heart disease deaths in women has exceeded those for men.
C.A.T. will make a $10 donation (up to $5,000) to a local heart health program for each person that walks in red heels (and, $5 for each person in red non-heels) with Justin Rudd at noon on Sat., Feb. 18, 2012, down the 2nd St. business district sidewalks. Each way is a half mile. So, if you walk there and back in red high heels, they'll donate $10 on your behalf.
