  • Just to be picky... * Folk BY the Oak.

    Thanks for uploading the video, was a great day!

  • @samharrison :I realised about half an hour after uploading that I'd made a mistake but didn't correct because a) I like to think that "Folk at the Oak" scans better (try saying both twice quickly - you'll see what I mean b) I was curious how long it would take before someone made a comment (around a 1000 if you include all 3 videos) and c) I really am VERY lazy.... Of course no real excuses - the clue was in the big multicoloured backdrop behind the band which clearly said "Folk by the Oak"...

  • ...though I'm not sure about Bodens suit - I can't decide if he won a bet or lost one....

  • On the basis of seeing them at the Folk at the Oak festival I can't help but think that the Folk Awards need to introduce a new award catergory: Best Live Band that Isn't Bellowhead...

  • @katiesmithqqf have album - but thanks for info.

  • Roll on October the fourth when we can get this and others on the album!

  • @vivienclogger Definately - I can't see how any other band could win awards with Bellowhead in the running. And with Spiers and Boden, Rachael McShane, Jon Boden and the remnant kings, etc etc etc I don't think other bands could get a look in!

  • Was there, was awesome, I was exhausted after, they must have been dead on feet.

  • Nice to be able to actually *see* the performance!

    {I was at the 'back of the front', behind the huge crowd who surged to stand at the very front whilst the band were still setting-up...}
