Barleyshakers barn dance band: Simon on guitar, James on accordion, me on fiddle. Caller for the evening was Mike.
Apologies for the static camera angle and 'atmospheric' lighting!
Tunes: The Girl I Left Behind Me, Miss McLeod's Reel, Rakes of Mallow

  • Don't mind the atmospheric lighting at all, sparky, I think it enhances the magic of the moment! Reminds me of a twilight dance at Ft. Snelling, where the ladies and gentlemen of a Civil War reenactment group waltzed and reeled (?) and polkaed far into the night to the music of the post band. We were eaten alive by mosquitos, the state bird of Minnesota, but loved every minute of it! You and the rest of the Barleyshakers play uncommonly well, sparky, keep up the good work.

  • @McGrenzer Thanks for your interest and enthusiasm!
