Minecraft Alpha - Lava Ceiling For Harvesting

Here is a small project which took me alot longer than Expected.

Firstly I had to smelt plenty of Sand to create Glass.
Secondly I mined out an area big enough to fit myself plus more with an Added 2 block height for the Lava and Glass.
After this I mined out an area above the harvest which I made two blocks high, which the same Dimensions as the Area below.
I spent alot of the time going through the mine towards the Lava (Shown in the video) to gather enough Lava.

Placing the Lava was Tricky as lava does not work the same way as Water does and I had some trouble making sure it was all even.

I started out doing the edges of the roof as they were indented to create the Lava roof effect. then moves on to the middle Section which is also shown in the Video.

The Harvest has plenty of Light and is also used as my base.

@1212funny1212 Thanks! ^^ - I used Fraps to record this, at the time my computer wasn't very powerful for this recording and only gave me around 16fps. Fraps is quite a computer straining program and I would recommend you have a good computer to do so, but since Minecraft isn't such a big game to run most computer would be able to record using Fraps.

and in the event of a break-in where you can't recover it, BREAK THE GLASS, FLOOD YOUR HOUSE WITH LAVA!

Little help, you can make glass walls and put lava between them and let the lava flow down between two panes of glass, this will allow you to have multiple levels, more harvesting, and less lava needed because it will flow down. Just a little FYI
