Meet Dinglehopper - a Pomeranian who came from a puppy mill in Missouri. He was sold to a puppy broker (the Hunte Corporation)who re-sold him to a pet store in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is his story of the challenges he's faced in his first 2 years of life... www.freewebs.com/michelle_and_dinglehopper

  • While my dog is "priceless" in one sense, the price tag attached to his vet bills is $10,000 and climbing.

All dogs do deserve a home, but they don't deserve a "home" where they are kept in poor conditions and bred constantly to supply Hunte and pet stores.

By buying from the pet store (and indirectly Hunte) I contributed to puppy mills... and therefore the suffering of dogs. That makes me feel sick.

  • I love my Hunte Puppy!!! He is priceless..All dogs deserve a home..

  • Thanks for your comment. Sorry to hear that your pup is from a mill as well.

  • I'm glad that I have Dingle and I would never give him up... I just wish that he never came from (and therefore I supported) a puppy mill

  • I'm so happy that PJ's pet stores stopped 'selling' puppies. It was one of the most depressing things to see ever. Dingle is so cute, and looks so happy!!

  • You video really hit home for me. I to, just bought mu Welsh Terrier fro a Petland store. His papers say "The Hunte Co." on the bottom. I researched, and discovered after he came home with kennel cough that he was from a puppy mill. I spent a lot for him, and it all went to SUPPORT a puppy mill!! We love out dog,Bently so much. I also believe, that if we wouldn't have gotten him, what would they have done with him... ? Killed him

  • she didn't say that she wishes she ever bought him, she said that she feels guilty for contributing to a horrible business. she loves her dog regardless, she doesn't resent him.

  • I too have a dog that most likely came from a puppy mill in MO. We were suckered by PETLAND. Please do not support their business. Their Puppies all come from Hunte corp. Lets stop PETLAND and SHUT THEM DOWN!

  • that sucks hes a puppy mill dog , but hes the love of your life too. So if i were you i'd feel guilty , cause his spot was replaced , but you saved him and he'll always cherice your empathy
