@Saryuki Sorry friend, but this video is almost a year old now and I can say that after living here for so long, Japanese television is quite retarded. Anime, variety shows, dramas, etc. are all incredibly shallow, cheesy, and asinine. Exceptions are the horror anthologies(sometimes) and Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende has its moments, but a panel of 50 minor celebrities tasting new flavor blasted toothpaste and giving me detailed descriptions of their reactions is retarded. Brainwashing almost.

The way you expressed those thoughts were very rude and condescending - it's an attitude that doesn't reflect well for other TUJ students. Perhaps you don't act like that in person, since I've never met you. But just keep in mind that when you are in another country, you still represent the rest of us, ok?

@Saryuki Hey, it's cool dude. I get a lot of flak for saying negative things about Japan from weeaboo all the time, so it's no sweat. I appreciate and respect your attitude though. Thanks! If it counts for anything, I'm watching Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende with my girlfriend and they are literally rubbing each others noses into old men's asses and I'm laughing. Though my Japanese girlfriend agrees Japanese t.v. is super idiotic or treats women like trash.

@Saryuki Also, it's quite well known by my friends that I think Temple students are absolutely unbearable. Douche bags the lot of them. It's very much like high school and I don't recommend it to anyone unless you are very good at just ignoring people. While the teachers and staff are great, the students are terrible.

@Aaronsxedge I'm sorry to hear that, as I have heard many stories about disrespectful students too. And I know very well that many TV shows reflect the misogynistic culture in the east. I wish it weren't so, for either case. Anyway, I hope you made the best of your trip, and still enjoyed your stay despite such setbacks. Have a happy new year.
