Obama Comes Out On Gun Control...Sort Of

Ana Kasparian and Cenk Uygur discuss a Newsweek article on the number of people who've died from gun violence since the infamous Arizona shootings by Jared Loughner. The piece includes a poll showing that a majority of Americans support stricter regulations on guns. They also discuss the role of the NRA on influencing public opinion. Finally, Cenk explains how President Barack Obama quietly released an editorial in the Arizona Daily Star that supported some very popular gun control measures but backed off of supporting limiting the number of bullets in a magazine. Many believe a lack of this limit led to more deaths in the Loughner shootings.

@boneta21 Yes there are some irresponsible gun owners that use them carelessly and that's why liberals get so close minded and ignorant about gun control. Ex-convicts are not aloud to get guns because 90% of them don't know how to use it. They'll shoot some guy because he gave them a dirty look, because they don't have the proper knowledge to use one correctly. Some people can't handle the power and destruction that a firearm can have and they don't find that out until they get arrested.

thats bull i'm an ex-con and i live in the getto.so if somebody shot at me i can't defend myself if u get a guy who has never been arrested gets a gun then desides to go get drunk.and somebody tics the guy off he will more likely shoot that person.then u call that person a killer.
