A clip from my cousin's wedding in India showing the bishop blessing the groom with a crown according to the Malankara/Syriac Orthodox tradition; the wedding took place at the Marthoma Cheriapally in Kothamangalam, Kerala
For me personally, as a member of the Orthodox Church, I do not see any reason to use synthesized or electronic accompaniment in holy services. The use now is just a product of its pervading popularity in Kerala...electronic keyboards with Orthodox chants just don't seem to jive.
