No joke tho isle of dread was bad ass. The first day it came out was sick I spent 12 hours with you trying to get in. Lol i think Prof was there too.

I remember I had a full-set of hand crafted Arcane jewelry and it was enough to tank most bosses on IoD pretty easily. When confronted on it I said I had "ancient guardian girdle of the gods" and that worked for about 2 months. Those were the days...
Best ever though is when Kimbial (could have been a dif GM I can't remember) popped up and you jumped in the lava. Good times!

I used to be in Ethereal on proudpine outpost. My char was Figg first 50/60 rogue and 2nd 50/60 ever on ppo.Isle of dread was epic fun at 50. I remember when it came out and you had to get the item off the Dreadnaughts. That zone was hella hard at first lol and Fright Terror and Dread woah they were fun. Avator of Fear was hella fun at lvl 50 also. Man this game rocks. It owns any mmo out today.

Bah! I remember raiding IoD before Frontiers came out, when our guild was all level 50 and under. Those were REAL raids! High risk of imminent death is what makes it FUN!
There's no fun in "easy mode"! But GG anyway. :P
My server was Castle Lightwolf or "CLW". I played since about two weeks after EQOA hit the shelves in stores. Pre-Frontiers was the best, imo. I think Frontiers kind of ruined things.
Pre-Frontiers EQOA was the best! Farming Ruby armor at the lizard men FTW! Raiding IoD FTW
