Threat to Parents' Rights in America by UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

If the US Senate ratifies an international UN treaty, all American parents will lose the right to make fundamental decisions in the upbringing and education of their children. This interview with two members of ParentalRights.org, a grassroots organization working to protect parental rights through a constitutional amendment, discusses the impact this treaty would have on American families.

Furthermore, telling your kids who to hang out with would not be in jepordy, even if it could, what attourney would defend a 12 year old pro bono because they wanted to join a gang? the rest of the word (except Somalia) have signed, they are all parenting their children...actually there is component that protects children to be raised by their parents as seen fit....also, there are things in the convention that the US does not have in law that children are to recieve highest attainable healthcare, children would also not be allowed to be on death row, something that is possible in the US, neither of these things I would argue would infringe on a parent's right...
