  • Nice job bro, glad to have your vids here, as the Lead Instructor at the Pathfinder School, your teachings here are invaluable as well.

  • I agree with cheeselyman, I'd really like to see a video where you do some leatherwork, maybe making moccasins or something like that.

  • i know another easy way lol lye bath, takes some time to soak but removes hair and all the membrane personally i like to work smarter not harder :)

  • fuk... so after 2 hours and still going on hide the old way... you just take half an hour !? shit'n'balls

  • Tim the Toolman Taylor is gonna get a tear in his eye when he sees this.

  • you might be a red neck if you use a hand grinder to flesh a deer hide, lol awesome idea man i might try this on coons

  • great idea bro never would thought of it

  • just a few tips as a taxidermist, trapper and hunter. Never ever use a spinning brush on your hides if you want to keep the hair on. I would not use it on a hide even if it was hairless. The bristles spinning can and do hurt the grain of the leather and they damage the hair roots. I can flesh a deer hide in 20 min to the point of salting and drying. You will have to thin the hide during the tanning process any way especially with a brain tan due to the fact that a brain tan only goes about 1/4"

  • @wildernessoutfitters

HECK YEAH MAN! GET CRITTER ON CAMERA SOME MORE MAN. MISS THE OLE DAYS OF SEEIN SOME OF THE DYNAMIC DUO TOGETHER SPEWIN THE KNOWLEDGE. BRING IT.

  • CRITTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would like to see you do a video on brain tanning too.

  • I would like to hear how these tanned. Just curious if the wire left any/enough steel behind that may react with the brain. Is there any kind of coloration on the skin side?
