In 2004 and 2005 I followed Phil Collins & his band on the First Final Farewell Tour. The pictures you'll see in this clip were taken in Budapest, Chicago, Cologne, Dubai, Dublin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Glasgow, Helsinki, London, Milan, Milwaukee, Neuchâtel, Nîmes & Vienna. It's a selection picked out of about 3,000 photos in total - difficult, I can tell you!
The music you'll hear is 'Souareba' by Salif Keita. It's always the very last song that's being played before the concerts kick off.
Hope you enjoy this little clip as much as I enjoyed these 17 concerts...

never said i was glad to see em go. i was sad. chill with the negitives lol. phil is part of the 1980"s good days like me. im glad hes still on a good roll then. thanks for the info.

@kramertmarie you are true abt the children's reason...but he did have a life altering back injury that left him unable to hold drumsticks...hope he will recover

He has had hearing loss in one ear but, no that isn't why he retired. He has two small children from his third marriage adn wants to be the dad he wasn't able to be with his older three children. He still plays...He isn't deaf, didn't have a back injury and didn't die...Which are three of the reasons I've seen given on youtube for him being out of the limelight. He's livig his life!

First Final Farewell...I hope it won't be the last Final Farewell tour. I've never been able to see him perform live. My extreme loss!!!

Sorry. I have to admit that the only Salif Keita song I know is Souareba. And I only know it because it was used as pre-show music on several Phil Collins tours.
