Mike Miller of UBS Honolulu was happy - but extremely cold - after the 17.5-mile Ederle Swim from lower Manhattan Island to Sandyhook, New Jersey. His re-warming consisted of getting off his wet swimsuit and swim cap, wrapping up in blankets, towels, jacket and a hat, sitting in the warm sun and drinking warm liquids. He stopped shivering after 20 minutes.
AWESOME! You are friggin crazy Mr. Miller but I bow to you now as the master of cold water swimming...to go from 80 to 50 has GOT to be a huge shock to the system and something very few people would even attempt to accomplish. Bravo!
