I thought this song went perfect with walter and his realtionship with his "mom".

but... the game is based on his trauma of killing her own wife, the emotion that James experiences when he goes crazy and eventually kills his wife could be very well expressed on the Lyrics, that's what i exactly mean.

there was more stronger emotions going through james than killing mary in the game. plus he didn't really realize that he needed to kill mary till the very end.
