  • This technique appears to be low impact and uses very little force. If it works for her, why can't her husband or significant do it for her? This seems like something that is not dangerous and you wouldn't need four years of chiropractic school to learn to do it. It could be done by almost anyone after a few hours of training; like a massage therapist for example.

  • Dear workingstiff76... Thank you very much for your comment. The Koren Specific Technique is taught throughout the globe to all different types of medical providers. However, the vast majority of practitioners that use KST are chiropractors. While it is a very gentle technique, we are only seeing a snippet here, as it is also quite a complicated technique. As far as her husband doing it? As the cliche goes, it's best if you don't try this at home. Thanks again. Doc C.

  • Thanks for shearing with all of us your knowledge, I'm 38 weeks and getting my back adjusted today for the very first time.

  • Dear "latitiko":

  • when he touched the stomach he touched her breasts.. she looked at his hand weird. this is weird. I dont care if you studied this and feel like people who havent studied this dont know what they are talking about. It just honestly seems like youre feeling her up with no actual benefits to the mother to be. Cant believe there is schooling for this... if there is no school even dumber if people are practicing this.

  • Dear Elexiee,

Thank you for watching and for your comments. As I mentioned below, "energy techniques" are certainly esoteric and not easily understood. I would recommend watching some of the many fine YouTube videos on KST by Dr. Koren or Dr. Kita. Also, Dr. Saylor has several videos of her adjusting pregnant woman. In the end, these valuable techniques are like gravity, which need not be seen, felt, or "believed in," because if you step off the cliff's edge you are going down. Warmest regards.

  • mrdude999> You don't know what the hell you are talking about.

  • Interesting. What exactly are you doing to her head and what are you feeling when you touch her back and stomach after touching her head? It seems strange but doesnt everything that you dont understand? Looking forward to your response.

  • @DoctorJTC this some bull shit, for real.

  • Dear DFSDEX:

Thank you for your comment. I agree that on the surface an energy technique like Koren Specific appears shady indeed. But, energy techniques such as acupuncture, tai chi, applied kinesiology, healing methods of Ayurvedic medicine, etc. have withstood the test of time. Koren Specific is nothing more than a system of asking the body questions, challenging the answer, then applying a force to the body to "burn" a new "neurologic trail" to enhance the body's inherent ability to heal.
