Forgive me for being blunt, but it is foolish to argue over personal preferences. I for one love this song and find it to be doctrinally sound. I am so blessed to be a member of LBC and have grown so much in my walk. This song praises God who deserves our adoration for who He is and what He did for us at Calvary. I would not be ashamed if I was singing this song when Jesus raptures me and the rest of the church. If one is not comfortable with this song that is okay too, but it is a preference.
The people who're having issues with this song because it was composed by a CCM artist are a bunch of legalistic, hypocritical Pharisees. The 'guilt by association' line of reasoning is ignorant and foolish. It's a shame these people have nothing better to do than try to destroy Christianity from the inside-out with their hate-mongering.
@wpittman31 "Pentecostal-Charisimatic woman 'preacher'" are you talking about Fanny Crosby who preached to men in prisons all the time. Maybe they should use only songs written by slave trading murder of 100's perhaps 1000's of Africans like "Amazing Grace". Maybe the Scriptures should not have said that the wicked ungodly High Priest that would sentence the Lord to death prophesied since he was clearly not a Believer.
@baptist1611 LOL. Good response. I have to hand that one to you. But now show me the "bad words" the piano keys make up. :) And any biblical proof they are "bad words".
It is tragic to see the compromise that has taken root at Lancaster. Let's hope these videos serve to warn other churches as to what happens when leadership fails to show discernment.

@ranchojohnny
"Which piano keys are evil?"
Typical CCM response. "Piano keys" have no morality...nor do the letters of the alphabet.

Is this the one that David Cloud is making a big stink about?
