Nice video, it took forever to get an LRT system in Phoenix. Had my first ride not too long ago and it is awesome, fast, smooth and reasonable. Looking forward to seeing the system expand as they should have brought this to Phoenix a long time ago.This valley is growing so fast and needs the rapid transit.

nice system, but man i thought houston's system stopped at a lot of red lights, but this one stops at more from what i see here. in houston, our LRT stops at lights only in the TMC, and it is 2 or 3 lights. at other intersections, all the lights turn red to allow the train to blast through without slowing down. they should try this in phoenix.

Visual signs are nice, unless you can't see, hence the audio announcements. Although yes that voice and chime are really awful. Sounds like a text to speech program.

Usually don't they have a digital display inside the light rail car to show you what station you're approaching? The "approaching" messages are kinda unnecessary.

Dumb announcements have since been turned off. The only ones now are just for the station arrival.

The constant droning of announcements is astoundingly annoying. very big brother-ish. what, signs aren't good enough?

Awesome. How is it traveling with light rail? We are getting one in Bergen, Norway, where I live.
