This is very impressive, but Rosemary Joshua does it so much better! She doesn't need to aspirate every note but still is laser accurate with just as much passion, a much more musical interpretation!!

No-one seems to remember Jennifer Vyvyan in the first LP set of Semele in this aria. It's a while since I heard it, but she wasn't far off this speed. And she was a shade more musical than this. Christie and the band seem to be enjoying themselves as much as Bartoli.
