  • Without coming up with edge cases and examples like "but I want to use internet cafe's" - why not just have your browser remember all your passwords and have a strong password for your PC. Rather than having all your eggs in one basket, which if cracked/phished/leaked your boned.

  • Ian, Thanks for your thoughts. I'm looking for Google to take the lead in creating the web where I am recognized everywhere. Imagine if I didn't have to register or sign in to any sites. Imagine if by signing in to my computer my browser would pass my alotted information along to the sites I visit. I want all information and experiences to be custom tailored to me. Google has the opportunity to play big brother and help me get what I want.

  • I see where your comming from and think you have a good point, but you do see how having all your eggs in one basket means when the basket is dropped all your eggs are broken. Rather than having Google do it all, you should probably poke the OpenId guys :)
