@ShotgunShooter666 I know you'll like that speed loader - the only problem I have with it is that I always end up shooting more ammo than I intend to lol. Hey, and thanks for the heads up on those slings, I'll have to look for one.

@tdawgee Thanks. If NY laws werent so strict, I'd keep one stock for hunting and put a tacticool stock on another.

Get yourself a Glock bro...9mm, .40, or .45 caliber. When the SHTF you don't want to be walking around with a long arm, if you don't have to. Handguns are concealable. Rifles and shotguns are not. Don't get me wrong...you should have a quality rifle and shotgun. But you can't always have those with you when you need them. With a handgun...you can appear to be non-threatening, and yet still defend yourself, if you have to. Just my $.02

@zulucowboy Hey Zulu. Im in the process of getting my pistol permit. Glock is one of the first handguns I will be buying. Glock 19. Thanks for the comment and watching. It wont be back until August at least. So I've got some time, unfortunately, until I can own them.

I'm not trying to be a dick but I'm a little surprised that you didn't choose your Henry over the 10/22. Don't get me wrong, 10/22s are great rifles but a lever action by design is more reliable than a semi-auto - plus with a Henry you don't have magazines to lose.

@sharkinfested No, I completely understand. And I definitely would pick my H001 over my 10/22 if I had a sling on it. I also dont like the slow reloading, but its definitely 500x more reliable than my 10/22. In over 2k shots through my Henry, I've only had 1 misfire. In my 10/22, I've had at least a few hundred in at least 5000 rounds through it. Thanks for watching.

@ShotgunShooter666 I do agree about the sling issue. I keep meaning to take my Henry into the gunsmith to get it drilled for sling mounts but I never seem to get around to it.
As far as reloading goes, have you ever seen the Spee-D-Loader for tube fed 22s? They are awesome! You can reload your Henry in seconds. I think Cheap Than Dirt carries them.

@sharkinfested You dont NEED to go to the gun smith. There are slings where you can hook it around the tube. And I'll have to check them out. Next time I order from CTD, I'll pick one up and see how nice they are. Thanks for the recommendation!
