I love how some of these comments talk shit about Edison even though he has help supply jobs to millions of people throughot the years and had 100x more determination than mostly anyone, and so what if he was a cut-throat businessman, in this world, if you wanna be heard and taken seriously, you have to be a ball-buster.He was definately one of the most influential men of the past 200 years.

Edison was just a f****n money hungry businessman, grand-grandfather of Jobses and Gateses of todays world. He shouldn't even be seen as an inventor. Everything that was "inventive" about him was the way he used people to leech their blood and make money on intellectual property stolen from other people.

@drogoKoJ Edison's employees/assistants worked under his supervision and they were paid, it's not like they were enslaved or worked for free. Much like the present-day teamwork laboratory research. Furthermore, Edison was a total business failure because his competitors always came up with better versions of his inventions and ideas that the consumer prefered. Maybe you should do some research before you demonize Sir Edison.

@drogoKoJ No, Tesla didn't invent or discover AC, it's a natural phenomenon. Westinghouse found out that AC could be generated at very high voltages making long distance transmission viable.When he went looking for patents, he chose Tesla's patents over other engineers to make his AC distribution system more appealing.
