  • @stefvids09 - parts cost $640 (Kteller kit, silencer, muffler). Labor cost is around $500.

  • is this the thermal 3 inch exhaust??

  • no. Kteller 3" inch with Magnaflow muffler with resonator.

  • nice job with that rsx bro, sounds awesome...

  • tnx!

  • on older honda B series motor, yes thats true. but on a K-series a 3" pipe has significant gains vs a 2.5". its proven, do research if you need proof and dont spread wrong info

  • lmao cold air headers wtf

  • how much did t his cost u

  • This aint Lids ppl, its not one size fits all. On some n/a h22s and k20s (even stock ones) a 3" is just the right size that the exhaust charges dont lose velocity and create enough flow. Ive seen stock b16s that make loads of power on a 3" with the right header. Ive also seen a built k20 with a **** header & 3" piping make insignificant improvements to justify the costs. with the right header, a 3" with work wonders. More air + gas = more fumes. More fumes = need larger piping. /rant

  • the trick to exhaust diameter tuning is first off: get a real header. You need a header with extremely specific length and diameter runners that will create a scavanging effect. This is when each pulse of exhaust from each individual cylinder creates a low pressure area behind the pulse, or charge, causing the next pulse to accelerate after it to fill in that void. Physics 101 ppl. the 2nd part is finding the sweet spot in piping diameter to continue that effect w/out slowing the gases down.

  • @sporkjsp

Backpressure??? wtf, are ppl still going on about that old urban myth!?!?

Dude, I apologize if this comes off as disrespectful, but you need to study exhaust dynamics more. You are completely incorrect. This has been proven for over a decade now, "back pressure" is BAD. Back pressure is the lack of the vacuum effect the engine's exhaust system requires to operate. With BP, your exhaust pulses would get sucked back into the engine. You NEED exhaust velocity, not back pressure!

  • i'll throw a rep up for kteller piping/ exhausts. i bouught a 2.5'' kit and threw a twin loop on it buit saved the rear for a straight pipe when its race day..love kteller!!!

  • hahaha

  • i agree its dyno proven for a k to make more power with a 3 inch vs a 2.5 inch exhaust especially if you have more supporting mods.

  • you obviously dont know the difference it makes on k series motors

  • that is correctt but if you have a turboo on any car 3inch is safee with out looseing no hp!
