This patients cant is treated with VectorTAS, a temporary anchorage device system . VectorTAS provides clinicians with a fast, effective means to treat a full range of orthodontic cases without compensating for the inadvertent reciprocal movement of adjacent teeth. The benefits of VectorTAS include reduced anchorage demand for more control, ability to treat surgery cases treated without surgery, elimination of headgear and reduced reliance on patient compliance, faster treatment time and greater patient comfort.

  • Only your doctor can comment about your specific case. We have seen this procedure literally hundreds of times and have heard from numerous patients that they don't feel any pain when a local anesthetic is used. Some patients have even foregone the local anesthesia! This specific patient was given a local anesthetic and commented that she felt no pain at all -- even after the anesthetic had worn off.
