Saddest SNES Music: #6 - Peace of Mind - Lufia 2

I already wrote a lengthy description about this song for another video, "To the Future" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COFDxNQyk24 but I think this tune deserves another mention. Lufia 2 is one of those (in my opinion) overlooked gems and this music is an example of why: emotional story telling. Few other SNES games have engrossed me in their story as much as this one did. This song, "Peace of Mind" is used in conjunction with several scenes (particularly the end scene) to really pack an emotional wallop.

I'm a big fan of RPGs, but I never got around to playing Lufia 2. There's a remake of it coming for the Nintendo DS, though, and is now becoming an action RPG. It seems a lot of Lufia 2 fans were quite upset by this, but I think I'll pick up this remake. If it's an action RPG like Secret of Mana or something, then yes, I'd gladly play it.

Every time I listen to this song I think of the ending to this game and every time I think of the ending it makes me cry. The part where it goes to their child and when it goes to Tia. Damn every single time I just can't help myself.

@PaperMario15 You need to play the SNES version first before you play the DS game.. If you haven't yet that is... Old School is the Way to go. :)

ok to the ones who dislike the lufia for the ds ITS an alternate version of lufia´s maxim in a new setting and it stands damn good on its own and i for one would love to see a remake of the first lufia game also for the ds since it will not be the same game but the same story more or less with a new flavor on it and its not always a bad thing and im a great fan of rpg´s on the snes and ps1.
