My dad's home movie in NY State sometime in the late 1930s. I believe the car interior in the middle of the movie is from a 1936 Plymouth P2. Converted from film to VHS to DVD to MPG! If you recognize any vehicles, landmarks, etc. in this film, let me know!

  • Ehwn did they develop sound tracks for film cameras? 1950's?

  • I'm not sure when the technology came out, but our home movies into the 1970s were all silent. I have an edited version of this with music on YouTube under "Lake George 1939"

  • In 2006, your son is 6, you are 47, and your dad would be 108? 3 generations, 3 centuries? What a Country!
