Allahu Akbar. I grew up outside of Somalia, roaming Europe, and America because of war. I never once stopped thinking of my Hooyo Somalia, I long for her and I dream of her. I am in love with a country that is self destructing, yet I have hope for two reasons....Allah-El Rahmaan, and the strength, poetry, and beauty of Somali people. May we unite and find peace within ourselves. Amen.
