Beautiful track. Archive and news footage montage...nothing new really, nothing at all. Just ideas, apathy and convenience to start with. The fact that not much has changed. This one stood out though...really nice, melodic, lush, yet cold...and cold equals fear. And fear equals America.

That was pretty good, even if it was stock footage (mine is the same track but I filmed it myself)

This is such a worn out formula. Take images of peaceful American suburbs, cut to war footage, cut to children, cut to war footage. The first time it was done, it was jarring and disturbing, and pointless. Now it's just a rehashed formula. There are plenty of countries that don't go to war much where people build houses and children play. Yes they have cars and yes they eat breakfast. There is little connection between the two kinds of footage but filmmakers keep wearing out this formula.
