TRAINING REVIEW AT DREAMY GHOSTS
Reccomend level to train - At least level 94 before it can begin to shine for you (For brawler) Can be earlier or later for some)
PROS
- EXP is fantastic, like usual xD.
- You kill them in mobs
- The map is flat therefore training requires no jumping
- Great for those who went shockwave first
- Uses full advantage of shockwave, energy charge, blast and drain as well as sommersault kick
- If you D/C you wont spawn on the hime map but the map before
- Maps can be easy to find off peak hours
- You can get there from mostly anywhere, there are world tour guides in almost every town, so you are able to train whenever you feel like it.
- Himes are heal killable therefore you would be able to train with priests
CONS
- Black Crow (Tengu, which is a boss) spawns at the map, making the map impossible to train on
- If you dont know how to use your skills properly you can be burning alot of pots in an hour
- Himes deal 1.7k touch damage (A bit less for other classes)
- You cannot talk here, or you will die instantly, himes is unfortunately a no talking zone when training
- You'll need quite a bit of acc if you want to hit these guys 100%
- No pet, will mean more trouble for you financially as you wont be able to turn training at himes from a loss to a profit
TIPS WHEN TRAINING AT HIMES
- Check the whole map before you begin to train, who knows crow could be hiding in a corner
- Take advantage of your skills, for marauders to mob the monsters use the corkscrew technique, when you kill it use a combination of drain and blast that way you will not waste any pots.
- When you mob them , go infront of the himes and not behind them, that way you wont be putting yourself in any danger
- Speed pills are great they will make you move around the map faster (Everyone but thieves)
- If you're feeling quite a bit of lag just disconnect, you'll spwn at the other map anyway.
- DONT talk, if its important, go to the previous map and talk there and then return, you're putting yourself in a 5~10% risk loss if u do that.
- Mobbing the monsters from left to right and killing would be more ideal, you'll save more time because you wont need to kill every monster you see which runs past you
- Make an estimate of when you need to use a HP pot, for eg. Your HP is 2500, you know that in two more hits you'll be dead therefore use another HP pot.
EXP Rate - 20~25% an hour (Level 102), Not on double exp, may vary from class to class
Pot Rate - 100~500+ Barbs and around 100 pizzas an hour, it depends on how you train, if you spam SSK and dont use corkscrew you'll be burning pots like no tomorrow but if you are aware of your skills then you wont burn too many pots
Item Rate - Himes drop an ETC drop, Kimono piece which can sell for pretty well, they drop pretty decent mesos around 600~1.1k mesos, in terms of drops they drop Earrings for Dex 70%, Cape for STR 70%, other various drops such as level 55 earrings and the throwing star oranges.
Overall Rating - 8/10, Himes are fantastic, I prefer himes more than typhons probably because of the map layout and also because its so easy to mob monsters. You wont burn ALOT of pots, if you use your skills smartly, try to use corkscrew as much as possible and also when you're in charge, use drain and blast that way you wont be burning alot of pots, because drain is already there to heal your HP. Only set back is the limited amount of channels, himes can be pretty popular especially during peak hour, also usually at least 10 channels are full of crows which makes himes impossible to train on. So the amount of channels arent great, and if crow spawns your dead. -.- Dreamy Ghosts (Himes), are an excellent place to train on, it can be fun and cheap at the same time.
HOW TO GET THERE - From the world tour guide, after you speak to Spinel you'll arrive at Zipangu, from there go to the mountain of the cloud fox. Then take the portal to the right, which should leave you in a crow forest map, from there head up to the portal. You should then bump into a map with lanterns, take 3 maps to the right, and bingo you're at himes.
