Grassroots charities took the lead in the earthquake animal relief effort. Recently we were joined by Best Friends Animal Society. Funds have been donated by the volunteers, and our budgets are stretched as far as they can go, Speaking for Amazon Cares, I don't know how we'll make it through 2007! www.amazoncares.org is accepting donations on behalf of Amazon Cares, Animal Rescue New Orleans, and Canadian Animal Assistance Team! they need help too and they are organization who help them you can contact them also, there are organizations who help pets as well. Its not ok to neglect animals only because there are other problems with people, its not humane and it is simply morally wrong. They bring confort to many ppl and for many are considered part of their family.
