  • How do I continental knit the 2nd row??? Is it exactly the same as the first because I am just starting to knit and I hve only done the first row. If you can post up a video doing the 2nd row that would be fantastic :)))))))

  • check out my purl variation for the next row if you want stocking stitch (the sample shown here is stocking stitch) - or try another purl technique

    cheers

sorry about the delay in replying.

  • @keepbleedingluv101

check out the video on here for continental knitting by craftsanity. they show you how to purl the next row

  • This is exactly how I knit, but I havent learned to purl continental yet and I have no idea how to quickly go back and forth between knitting and purling,

  • wow that great ...that my frist time ..havent see that b4 ... great KNIT... :)

  • I've been trying to become as comfortable with Continental as I've been all these years with English knitting. This is the first method I've seen that MAKES SENSE to my English-knitting fingers. Thanks!!

  • i just found out about 'speed knitting', but couldn't quite catch the grip from Miriam Tegels. This video helped SO much! i'll be knitting faster from now on! Thank you!

  • Yes, I do hold on to the fabric, and not the needle. I tap on the left needle every now and then, but I find my fabric hard to move.. I think it's just hand coordination though ;) I'm a loose knitter. In fact, I have a small hard skin patch on my right index finger from knitting too much hehe.
