As future advice NEVER, and I mean NEVER use pure white on a mini.
It's a hell of a lot better than my first, btw. Now, whenever you paint cloth or straps that are old or worn, drybrush a light grey. In gandalf's case, everywhere but the sword and face.

The figures came with those bases. As a beginner, back then I couldn't distinguish what bases (round or square) belonged to what.

Thx. I got some dwarfs now from Warhammer Fantasy that I've painted. I'll post some new vids soon.

What colour have you done for his staff and belts?
Faramir1992 3 years ago
Firstly, (after priming my model with Chaos Black), I painted the staff and belts with Snakebite Leather. Then, I mixed Goblin Green with Chaos Black (about 80/20, this should give you a kind of military-greenish tone) and thinned the color mix with clean water. Lastly, I simply applied the mix on the staff and even a more watered-down mix of the same sort on the belts.

Is his beard just Skull White?
Faramir1992 3 years ago
Yes. With an extremely watered down wash of Mithril Silver across the beard.
