Anime and manga are very little pieces of japanese culture. And you know about this culture a very very little, but if you know a little bit more you become japanophile definitely.
Japanese is a beautiful language, not a like english or russian, that's why people becomes japanophiles, and because jap girls a pretty too. Another reason why Russian becomes japanophiles it's a very high level of life, unlike in Russia, but it does not concern you.
Sorry for my poor eng and greetings from Russia.

I'm 13. I am not a weaboo. But. . . . . yeah. I kind of get what you're saying. Weaboos are quite confusing I agree.

@zacknember Would be a valid argument. No grammar skill. So.

@MyMiserableMindset thanks for reply. I really hate that sort of people, I hate anime fanboys (but I watch some really good anime, time to time). These people are not weeaboo/japanophiles. They a cartoonphiles, thats all. They have nothing to do with Japan or japanese culture.

Japanophilia/asiaphilia are mental disorders. Individuals will lack of self worth and pedophiles are most likely to follow such culture.

Omg! I soo agree! (about the random Broken-Japanese) My mother is Japanese, so I learned it at a early age. I get pissed off when people do that though, like in public.

In the case of Twilight, the fan fiction isn't the worst. The original construct is. Edward is purposely written to tap into the psyche of insecure young girls to fit their fantasy man pretty much perfectly.
I will agree though; it gets weird outside of Japan and OH WAIT, it's pretty creepy IN Japan, too. I don't like Akihabara much anymore because of that.
IMO though black girls look the BEST in ganguro, lol. Better than Japanese girls. Does anyone really look good in it though?
I think maybe you should worry less :D...
I know it's irritating .. but you can't stop it.
Japan just has a very interesting culture....
The world is strange but most of the time there is a reason for that.
And from own expierience i would say that the people who really get's irritated about people are people who love Japan to.Well... im pretty sure...

"You dont get people running around pretending to be Icelandic, and dressing like a viking."
Now that, would be fucking awesome.

Oh Hanna Minx. I used to watch her videos for a while when she did proper vlogs. But her terrible Japanese lessons are not interesting. And I think I would call myself a Japanophile, I like anime/manga and almost anything Japan related. I think it's ok to learn about and admire another culture. But acting "normal" is definitely a must. Some people give us a terrible image.
