I don't know what their deal is. It seems the English speaking critics had a fall out with her, and anytime she releases a record now, they say she is "hopelessly mannered"... as in faking emotions. They even say that about her as Sesto in the magnificent Salzburg 2003 performance of 'Tito'.
I think she is the best voice actress since Varnay. L'Authentica!!

She does indeed! The English speaking critics dis her for it, but I don't care. Musically she's totally in character. One doesn't have to understand the language to know what she's feeling. I bet a lot of singers would want to know how she does it. Amazing!
