Welcome to the AZAD Los Angeles 2012 Conference!
The docents of the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens are thrilled to invite the members of AZAD back to Los Angeles. We've changed a lot in the last 25 years. We've built world class primate exhibits: the chimpanzees of Mahale Mountain, Campo Gorilla, and the Red Ape Rainforest.

Our recently completed Elephants of Asia habitat fills the heart of our zoo and LAIR, the Living Amphibians, Invertebrates and Reptiles area will be opening next year with Mexican giant horned lizards and other rare species that we are working to save in the southwest.

From the desert to the sea, Southern California has something for everyone, adobe haciendas and world famous museums. You think of Los Angeles as a city, but we have a wild side, too.
