  • Hi, I live in Nambour Sunshine Coast and would like to know what it is that you are using for cleaning your stamps there. I use baby wipes and a staz on stamp cleaner but I like what you use it looks so easy.

  • Howdy

I use a Stamp Cleaner - Its has a dry pad on one side and a wet pad on the other. Mine is from Stamping Up! And its my favorite favorite tool :)

  • Please I need help!! I use Dovecraft ink and my stamps are not clean at all!! They are dirty and not thin!!! Is it because of the bad quality ink ? Or something else? Thank you for the response

  • Ok there are a few things you can try.

Try StazOn Stamp Cleaner. It can be used as a great cleaning agent for any type of ink.

Also Baby Wipes! We use them for cleaning our stamps all the time!

Many professional craft people dont clean there stamps at all........As long as you can still stamp a clean image, then all is good.

You will find that many Clear Stamps will stain. No matter how much you clean them. This is perfectly normal and wont effect your stamped image.

  • We are glad the video was useful for you!

We also had the same problems when we started out! If only we had some videos to look at then :)

We will be posting more videos soon on things such as how to Watercolor your stamps, Masking and the list goes on.

    Happy Stamping :)

  • @CraftALotAustralia I am sorry, I wasn't talking about how to clean stamps but how to stamp well , I mean that my stamps are not pretty at all on the paper cards, not like people show us in the videos! I do think it is a matter of ink.

  • So the archival stazon dye ink, does this ever fade or do you still need a pigment ink to prevent fading. Thanks for the awsome tutorial!!!

  • THANK YOU! I've been interested in stamping for ages but haven't gotten up the courage to actually try it... until now! I was squisher, so that particular tip is invaluable.

    More please! Thanks again. :o)
