June 18, 2008: Justice and Columbus seem to enjoy each other's company. We get a close up view of their very special nostrils, which allow them to properly breathe in air when they are in their stooping dives, over 200 MPH!
Their feathers are growing in and they are shedding their down. As you may recall, there are two femals (Justice, S-47; Mistic, S-73) and two males (Columbus, C-65; Boomer, C-66). The two males will likely fledge first. Before they do, we will see them wingersizing on the ledge and jumping higher and higher. They get so close to the edge! Yikes!
6/25 Justice was found in a window well, was retrieved by Division of Wildlife personnel, and placed back on the ledge. (She was examined and appeared uninjured.)

As of this morning, all four perlets have fledged. Three fledged yesterday and Boomer fledged today. We may get glimpses of them on the ledge in the future.
