  • this is amazing. I love to hear boys so big and still being sopranos.

I never sang as a kid, because was ashamed....but im lucky i kept my boy soprano voice because of a beautyfull miracle of life.

Well it is not quite the same as i was a kid, it has gained Body and colour and lost Hight in puberty, but i will recover, but also the brightness of the soprano voice i can recover.I never stopped being soprano and that is a miracle. I can't sing tenor either alto properly. And care for agressions

  • You still have a soprano voice? :) Like Michael Maniaci? That's fascinating!

  • IMO the best treble recording EVER. Thanks so much for being the person to finally put in on YouTube!

  • you're welcome. :-)

  • @cabbalistic And there are only two soprano boys who did it... I hope I will listen more.

  • Wow! Was that a boy?!

  • @johng423 Thanks for it, great voice.

  • Very beautiful voice, bad the pronounciation ist not very well...

  • @PrimoUomo, @angryjalapeno - RIRRATTO has posted a 1954 performance by Teresa Stich-Randall, soprano and Helmut Wobitsch, trumpet, with a tempo that may be more to your liking (5:03). Looks like I can't insert a link in this comment/reply. Try searching for "stich-randall cantata 51"...

  • @PrimoUomo

I prefer it a little slower too but not too slow. I have Cencic singing this as a treble to and its a bit slower than this one. I'll see about putting it up. :)

  • @angryjalapeno

I agree! Why is it always this fast? My understanding is that Baroque is thought to be much slower. But I can't even find one slow version of this... Frustrating.

  • DAS ist wunderbar!

  • I never liked Jauchzet sung this fast. Sounds like a frantic horse race.

  • Magnifique ! C'est probablement un castrato soprano qui a créé cette oeuvre à Dresde. Alors ce genre de voix convient sûrement meux qu'une voix féminine;;; sauf Stich-Randall évidemment...
