I dove the Rhone (my first dive adventure) the last week of Feb. this year and ended up misplacing my disposible underwater camera ..was disapoointed but now I have a great souvenier..thanks!

Awesome, that helps lots. I also have an equinox housing and was wondering if the vignetting was a design flaw for my housing only. Apparently not though. thanks for the tips

I dived the Rhone in August 2007, without a camera. This video is an amazing example of what I saw down there, High quality and really shows whats down there. The best souvenir for me that money could not buy, Cheers guys!!

were you using a wide angled lens when you shot this footage?

Yes. The Equinox housing came bundled with a no-name wide angle lens. I also have a Sony wide angle, but it is too long to fit in the housing. If you use a wide angle with the Equinox housing, you will probably want to zoom in slightly to avoid vignetting. When editing the piece on Avid Express, I cropped the image slightly to eliminate the vignetting. Hope the info helps.
