At the break of dawn on 1st May 2010, at Bunker Trail, Panti Forest, caught glimpses of shadowy outlines of two Javan frogmouths taking turn to feed another bird. At first light, they setlled down on a bare branch under the canopy of a roadside tree. Manage to video this family of three. The bird in the centre is a male bird with extenisve whites on his underparts. The bird on the left is an adult female with rufous breast and relative more extensive white on the forehead compare with the juvenile female bird on the right . Notice the habitat around the bare branch, providing excellent covers for these roosting birds. The tails are hung loose, swaying with the breeze, almost perfect camouflage .
