What is to become of the United States economy in 2009? Gerald Celente says that we can look forward to an economic collapse like we have never seen before, and it is going to go worldwide. Retail sales have been down all the way down the line. Businesses are going to hurt, and who is going to rent out the empty space? The answer is no one.

The commercial real estate collapse is going to dwarf the residential real estate collapse. When looking at unemployment, it is important to look at the right number. The government keeps two sets of numbers. They report the good number. They don't mention people who aren't looking for work anymore because they have become discouraged.

Businesses are going to be laying off workers, and it is going to be worse than the Great Depression. Back then, most people didn't own homes. There were no credit cards, and there was no such thing as a home equity loan. America is already the most depressed nation in the world. They take more anti-depressant medication than any other nation.

It is going to be "off with their heads" around the world. There is going to be a tax revolt. 130 new taxes have been proposed in New York. People are hopeful that Obama will bring change. They are desperate and fearful. He will disappoint them, just like every other politician. By their deeds you shall know them. He brought it all the same team and crew from the Bush administration. They are losers. The only thing that they know how to do is keep their fingernails clean.

Every politician we've ever had has lied. Why would you trust these people? Gerald Celente says that he personally buys gold. Healthcare will be a growing industry that will always be in demand.

The rest of the world is hopeful with the Obama administration. He said that when he became president he would begin withdrawing from Iraq. Now he announced that he is sending 40,000 more troops to the middle east. Not exactly the change that people were looking for.

Current events form future trends. In today already walks tomorrow. When most people look at things, they try to look at them through the lens of their individual ideology. It is important to look at economics, politics, and family dynamics. In the 1990s, we were in a huge recession, but the Internet revolution is what brought us out of it. A similar revolution in energy could bring us out of the current situation.

  • This is manipulated so that real estate can be bought up for free (from the "phantom" money "created" by usuary jewery

  • 0:22 oh yea

  • Who is going to rent all the empty retail office space? All these FAT CATS will not lower the rent, they want to write it off their taxes instead! This is going to be worse than the Great Depression. SAVE YOUR SOUP SPOON!
