Miss Andrews is AWFUL!! She doesn't sing any of the correct harmonies!! She ends up on the tune with Mary. Plus she speaks half the song in the first place!! Listen to Rosie Ashe, she is the best Miss Andrews by far, amazing voice and fantastic actress. Really disappointed with the recording.

@wipeout33 Well, I went and listened (plus I was at the Orginal London Cast Show myself! :D). I think the main difference is how they interpret their characters. Rosie Ash has her nasty old woman who scared the hell out of me, and she has the thin voice you'd excpect from such a character. Judi Conelli's Miss Andrew is slightly plumper and not downright ancient, plus she's VERY over-the-top (as I take it you understood). Her booming, melodramatic voice sounds natural to that. I love both.

@wipeout33 So it's really a question of how you prefer Miss Andrew. But I think they both portray their versions of the character very well.

I really enjoyed the Miss Andrew that we saw on Broadway. Ruth Gutshell or Gotshell better :33 She was so scary.

I believe Deryn Edwards to be the best Miss Andrew.. but as I say I'm no expert, and it is my own preferences. I see this Miss Andrew as someone who though slightly over the top to be just as scary and evil, but doing it with one of those horrible sick smiles which I find very... scary aha. I am afraid however that Rosie Ashe and Deryn Edwards are much more superior to Judi Connelli
