Papalote church does not have a baptismal. Pastor Ramon Ross Rubio said, "oh we can make one in the parking lot!". So a visiting team from La Center Washington dug a hole in the sandy dirt, used cement blocks for a stairway and covered it with clean plastic, filled it with water and voila... a baptistery! After the ceremony, the hole was filled in a the parking lot reappeared.

As Ramon loves to say "Mexicans are very special people."

Pastor Ramon is baptizing Ana, Esmeralda, Adelfa and Rigo here in this video. Baptism is a public demonstration that one has chosen to follow God's path and live a life that reflects the love of God. There are about 150 people here at this baptism. Neighbors are hanging over the fence in rapt attention with great interest.

The singers are Esther and Cati. This is an old Mexican hymn that states that "I will follow Jesus even unto the end of the world because he is my Savior".
