This video series showcases my way of beating the Extra Mission True Dynasty Warriors: Gundam using the original Gundam, good old RX-78-2.

RX-78-2 is still a formidable foe by all accounts but against super powered grunts and even more super powered aces, he needs a little help in order to stay alive. I choose to use the Pilot Skill Ace Pilot in order to compensate for his weaknesses.

I know there are some who complain that Ace Pilot takes too long to enjoy (for those who prefer not to play more than 10 minutes a level, check my Nu Gundam video series), but I love this skill as I enjoy slashing up 2,000 enemies and walking around like a god when its all said and done. But in order to rack up this amount (or more) quickly, youll need to find this specific map I choose as it has the best spots to rack up kills in minutes.

I purposely started the video at the pause and left there for a few seconds so people can see what the map looks like beforehand. You'll know you've got it when the top middle red field contains the Musha Gundams, and it has two red fields on the left and right sides of it.

Below are my sets of objectives and advice you should keep in the back of your mind when you play this level:

1. Clear all the fields: Your teammates will leave you hanging when you fight the Musha Gundams if there are any unconquered fields.

2. Save at least one ally: Makes the final fight soooooo much easier.

3. Pick one ally at the start you'd like to protect, and conquer the field they're in immediately: Your allies will lose a lot of life fighting grunts and they'll need you to rescue them but you don't want to give up your free energy refill at the very beginning so take that field out asap.

4. SP attacks are your saviors: Use them to counter the computers Red Sp attack, they'll save your life every time.

5. Always be guard when surrounded by enemies, especially if aces are around: You never know when they'll unleash an SP attack.

Id suggest using a Pilot who has a high shot rating, but also an above average melee rating as your ground SP attack will be your main weapon against aces. Good luck

Pilot: Heero Yuy, level 50

  • I used heero wing gundam zero all rank 4 parts for his suit and all fully upgraded man it was annoying but i got through

  • did you use dash attacks

  • @yukitatsutanabi8

They don't really disappear, its probably the AI only SP attack, there are certain attacks in the game that only the AI can pull off, like for example, when wing zero disappears from the screen and you get rifle blasts from the sky coming at you

  • @PureheartedDevil0

Between both the versions (JP and USA) probably a bit over 1k hrs

  • @nick84therock Oh,on the contrary,I do indeed want to know.

  • @PureheartedDevil0

Lol, you don't want to know, too much ^_^

  • oh thxx

can u answer the other question plz

  • Yeah I do, but I get lazy sometimes

  • You do know that if you use your sp while they're doing their sp, and yours ends before theirs does, that if you hold guard before your sp runs out you'll be able to guard their attack?

  • No problem

  • thx for posting this :)
