A documentary about the speed of light, the ultimate speed limit enforced by the laws of the universe, and how scientists are looking for ways to exceed it; a look at what happens when we reach the "light barrier"; what could happen if we surpass it, and how the "cosmic constant" can be manipulated.

@wtfrutlkingbt (long rant is long) Because, thus far, the structure of the Universe has remained stable (everything still interacts the way it's supposed to), I must ask you how you can believe there is no God who oversees it all. Now, it's entirely reasonable to question how God could exist outside the infinite universe; as humans, our minds are limited to the finite. Infinity and beyond are eons ahead of our comprehension, but I still certainly know your argument is a load of bull. Good day.

@wtfrutlkingbt So, since the Universe appears to have a consistency throughout (which is an incredible marvel, no matter what you think) its reaches, the only logical conclusion is that it must have been governed into doing so. As I already outlined, consistent structure means there is an inherent design; something has to be working behind the scenes, dictating how things work. Nothing in modern science says that gravity, for example, couldn't suddenly cease to exist! (cont...again...)

@wtfrutlkingbt Tell you what; when you can present irrefutable proof that God couldn't exist, come talk to me. Until then, I'll present you with simple logic. The Universe is inherently built around specific principles which govern all things within it. From gravity to electromagnetism to quantum theory (even if we ourselves don't fully understand it). So you can't deny that there appears to be a structure to the way the Universe works. And to me, a consistent structure means *DESIGN*. cont...

@sgbeal I think the gravitational pull of the galaxies can pull themselves together

@Woot831 "....the FAIRY TALE of "Random Chance" and origin-lacking "Cosmic Egg" theories"??????? Right, and an omnipotent God existing *outside* the laws governing the universe doesnt sound like a fairy tale to me :P

@xZOOM99999x And where did physics come from, do you suppose? A fluffy white dragon flying through space playing rock music on a flute? Or perhaps something even more ridiculous? That's funny...I'll take an omnipotent God existing *outside* the laws governing the universe over the fairy tale of "Random Chance" and origin-lacking "Cosmic Egg" theories. Good day.

@tupaki786 i know right! because physics had NOOOOOOOOOTHING to do with any of it.... oh wait.

This absolute uniformity only has one possible explanation. Almighty God.
