@Igorstenvers Injector burning a hole into the piston? That sure is new to me. Did it burn a hole straight through to the piston pin and con rod or did it just make sort of a cavity in the piston? Either way, both would certainly cause low compression.

I'm sort of curious about what the problem is. Anybody else have any guesses aside from bad compression or perhaps a mistimed injection pump?

hello JT42cwrn. The problem was indeed bad compression on one cilinder. One of the injectors was verybad and burned a hole in the piston. engine wasn't worth rebuilding. I found a good replacement and the car runs like new now. the car belongs to a friend of mine ( who is starting the car). I am standing next to is with the blue shirt.
