also mate, if you have myEmulators running yet can u show a vid of it an possibaly tell how to do it because ive been working on it for ages trying to have it work flawlessly in my setup and no matter how much i change the .xml files or re-install the entire thing, it always fails!!

hye, mate i was wondering what tv tuner you use or find best and how did you get the tv logos on the epg? ive been trying but with no prevail!
btw great setup, mine is similar but different layout and not as much movies (yet)

Hi could you help me having problems playing 720p and 1080p movies they either stutter or won't start. Also how do you get all DVD/blu ray commentary on?

@1981Amm What processor do you have? Also, do you know what codecs you use to playback the video and audio? and do you know what splitter is used? Did you just install a codec pack.. if so, which one?

Thanks for sharing, it inspired me to get a MediaPortal setup running and I'm stoked with it. How are you doing the advanced recording of tv shows? That's not standard MediaPortal that does that is it? Also, are you skipping ads with Comskip?

@tonyppalmer Good on you mate. The advanced recording is done via "4TheRecord" (much better than MP's internal TV recording management).
And indeed, the ads skipping is thanks to comskip. Comskip will work just fine on a single-seat setup, however on a multi-seat (server+client) it doesn't work out of the box. But! Check the wiki page on setting up comskip. and (down the bottom of it) you'll see a link to a forum thread which solves the problem on multi-seats and gets it working :)
