Crossing from Cove Bay up to Garrison Bay. Wind was SSE in the high teens, temperature was in the upper 50s F. First time doing a big wind crossing for John. John and Mike in the V8s were having no problem catching waves and keeping up with the V12s. Not a race of course just out. It wasn't a huge day, just big enough to have fun. Mike tried out his helmet cam, I shot all of this with my waterproof point and shoot Lumix DMC-TS2.
The Beatles, there are four of them and there were four of us. The first song is a sort of tribute to the women that let us paddle. The second is a reference to how our bows pearl sometimes on bigger waves, and the last song is us all getting along even though sometimes there is contact on the waves or blatant pushing...
This by far my favorite paddling video of all time: paddlers in all types of skis having a blast! I love the gray sea and sky conditions brightened by your positive attitudes.
