Thank you so much for your video. It's really informative and brings up a lot of good points. You're right that the first step is definitely the hardest leap to make, especially because it's hard to admit that you were wrong before, especially if it was for many years and you've made sacrifices to defend your faith. I'm still trying to figure out how to fully recover, after being born into fundamentalism and leaving at 18. Videos like this have been immensely encouraging, so I thank you!

After escaping religion and fundamentalism, I am even afraid of even opening the bible and looking at its historical context. Does GETTING A GRIP also help in this process?

People that really believed and walked away need to pat themselves on the back every morning. The courage required is no different than that of the soldier who pushes forward when everyone else is running away. Be proud!

I have been planning a video series detailing what helped me during my own agonizing deconversion. Before making any video content, I would very much like to read or listen to your book.
There doesn't seem to be an audio version. Is that in the works or will the book remain solely in print media indefinitely?
Truly, it baffles me how I have survived the past 4 years since losing my faith. All is well now, of course! I am just glad that a book exists to aid others through this process.

this is exactly what I needed after leaving the Mormon religion alienating many of my family and friends in the process. Thank you so much.
