Urban Soul Orchestra is proud to present the video showreel highlights of our different products available.

Little Big Band

The USO Little Big Band features 3 vocalists and string quartet. It is usually booked as a classy alternative to the everyday soul or cover band, for wedding receptions, corporate events and exclusive private parties. The set was recently performed to much acclaim at the LTA Wimbledon Ball 2010. USO currently have a repertoire of over 30 songs and continually arranging new tracks. The band is also available as a Big Band (20 piece including live band and horn section) and Big Little Big Band (13 piece including percussion, horn section and dancers). DJ Set

The USO DJ set is a unique fusion of live percussion, strings, vocalist, sax and DJ, entertaining guests with an upbeat performance of soulful house and Latin grooves, suitable as background music or dance music. The set was specially created for a party hosted by Penelope Cruz in Cannes during the 2009 Film Festival and has subsequently been performed at the Basel Art Fair and at a private party hosted by Lord Norman Foster in Switzerland. Chill Out Set

The USO Chill Out set works perfectly as background music for drinks receptions and is usually configured as a quartet or octet. Music arranged by Stephen Hussey.

Acoustic Ensemble

The 6 piece USO Acoustic Ensemble adds a groovy twist to the traditional string quartet by adding in percussion and bass. The set works perfectly as either background music during a wedding breakfast or for corporate networking events. There is over 3 hours of repertoire to chose from in this set, including classical music, pop standards, soul classics and even some reggae favourites. USO are constantly updating their repertoire and recent additions include Blowers Daughter and One Day Like This which are perfect for wedding ceremony music. The ensemble can also be booked with a vocalist and an 11 piece ensemble is available for larger events. Music arranged by Stephen Hussey.
