Explosions can, indeed, generate conditions for subsequent coagulations of order. The constituent nature of the material determines the kinds of structures into which it is able to reorganize. The early cosmic soup was extremely compact and hot and thus had a different kind of structure than that which it has attained from its expansion and cooling. The conditions and ingredients for evolution were all there, it just needed to be allowed to expand and cool for evolution to occur.
